We are seeking an experienced Senior BI Developer with expertise in Power BI and Self-Service BI solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, designing, and implementing business intelligence solutions that meet the needs of the organization. The candidate should have a strong understanding of data architecture and data modeling, as well as experience in data visualization and report development.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop business intelligence solutions using Power BI
  • Work with business users to gather requirements and understand their needs
  • Develop and maintain data models to support the business intelligence solutions
  • Develop semantic data models for self-service business intelligence solutions
  • Develop reports and dashboards to provide insights into business performance
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing BI solutions
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure that the BI solutions are scalable, efficient, and maintainable
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new BI technologies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in business intelligence development
  • Expertise in Power BI  
  • Proficient in SQL and data modeling using Snowflake & Star schemas
  • Exposure to semantic modeling in tools like Dremio, AtScale etc
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
