DT Testing Lead

The DT Testing Lead will work under direction of the Business Systems Transformation Program Lead and the Program Manager/PMO lead, collaborating closely with the Business Project Manager, Business Testing Lead, digital technologies and systems integrator PMO Leads, as well as other solution and workstream leads. The DT Testing Lead will be a critical collaborative voice actively ensuring that all project testing requirements, deadlines, and schedules for the business are on track, leading in testing organization and planning, while ensuring that testing reporting metrics are accurate through the agreed upon project tools.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Business Testing Lead, Business Project Manager and Program Manager/PMO to define the testing strategy / approach, methods and tools to support testing
  • Working with the GPOs, lead the development of test cases, scripts, and data requirements for business-owned testing cycles (UAT).
  • Coordinate test preparation, execution and follow-up
  • Facilitate key Project/Workstream Testing Status Calls including detailed recaps and recordkeeping with superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Generate and validate workstream testing metrics/KPIs and responsible for producing accurate and timely reporting of workstream testing statuses as per the Program Communication Plans in Governance Guides and Maverick Program Playbooks. 
  • Follow all Transformation Governance and Audit protocols.
  • Collaborate directly with workstream leads to facilitate testing-related problem-solving and quality.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the relevant testing tools, methods and best practice.
  • Update Azure DevOps (ADO) Tool to ensure testing management efficiency across multiple stakeholders, working collaboratively within the PMO community.  Clear champion for ensuring all testing risks, issues, actions, decisions, changes, are properly logged.   
  • Manage the execution and tracking of all business-owned testing cycles (UAT)
    • Daily monitoring (hygiene/follow ups) of the business workstream’s testing objects in various deliverable trackers (primarily ADO) and identification of progress & required escalations.
    • Drives issue resolution and escalates as needed.
  • Works with Business Project Manager, managing progress against testing plan and status.
    • Manages critical path and high-risk testing activities, identifying potential threats and conflicts, and implementing mitigating actions.
  • Support cutover and deployment planning and coordination for the Business Team, working collaboratively with Business Project Manager, Program PMO, and other testing/deployment leads across Digital Technology teams. 
  • Other Duties as Assigned within the realm of testing lead responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Testing & Systems Integration.
  • 5+ years’ experience in digital technologies project work
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Testing Expert or in a similar detailed project coordination
  • Working knowledge of project management and testing methodologies, tools, and best practices for both waterfall and agile projects.
  • Strong understanding of technology concepts, software development life cycle (SDLC), and infrastructure projects.  Azure DevOps expertise (preferred). SAP/ADO/MS Project/Smartsheet – Fluent in multiple system applications
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Solid problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail
