Client Partner - Business Intelligence

As a Client Partner for Business Intelligence Data Visualization, you will serve as the primary point of contact for client departments, ensuring alignment between their business objectives and the delivery of data visualization solutions. Drawing upon your expertise in business intelligence and client relationship management, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to understand their specific needs and requirements and drive the successful implementation of analytical reports and dashboards that drive data-driven decisions.  

Responsibilities

Relationship Management:  

• Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders across departments, including but not limited to, finance, marketing, operations, and sales.  

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business goals, challenges, and opportunities, and providing strategic guidance on leveraging data visualization for informed decision-making.  

Needs Assessment and Solution Design:  

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of client needs and requirements related to data visualization and business intelligence.  

• Collaborate with internal teams, including data analysts, visualization designers, and project managers, to develop tailored solutions that address client challenges and objectives.  

Project Coordination and Delivery:  

• Serve as the liaison between client departments and internal project teams, ensuring clear communication, alignment of priorities, and timely delivery of project milestones.  

• Monitor project progress and performance against established timelines and KPIs, proactively identifying and addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.  

Quality Assurance and Stakeholder Feedback:  

• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and feedback sessions to gather input and validation on analytical reports and dashboards.  

• Ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to best practices in data visualization and user experience design.  

Continuous Improvement and Customer Success:  

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and impact of data visualization solutions for clients.  

• Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, helping them maximize the value of their data assets and achieve their business objectives through data-driven decision-making.    

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.  

• Proven experience (7+ years) in client relationship management or consulting roles, with a focus on business intelligence, data visualization, or analytics initiatives.  

• Strong understanding of business intelligence tools and technologies, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Domo.  

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.  

• Analytical mindset, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.  

• Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships and driving customer success.  

• Relevant certifications in business intelligence (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate) and/or project management (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP) are a plus.
