Accounts Officer (Contract)

We are looking for Accounts Officer to assist in catering to the needs of management and accounts function primarily related to receivables, revenue and management reporting. 

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the contracts with customers are properly executed and kept safe in both hard and soft form for future reference. 
• Raising timely and accurate invoicing to the customers as per the contracts. 
• Computation and recording of monthly intercompany invoices. 
• Follow- up with customers on the overdue invoices in accordance with organizational SOPs, ensuring the outstanding receivables are settled and organizational KPI for overdue receivables is maintained. 
• Reporting of the outstanding receivables to management in line with the SOP of the organization. 
• Recording of payments received from the customer in accounting system. 
• Revenue booking at the end of the month in the accounting system. 
• Ensure accurate booking of all transactions in the system and maintain sufficient details and evidence for smooth year end external audit. 
• Catering to and responding to all the queries of customers and business with respect to invoicing and receivables. 
• Assisting in monthly management reporting, forecasting or any other task that may be assigned. 

Requirements:

• M.COM/MBA/BBA/B.COM with 3-12 months related experience
• Strong communication skills combined with the confidence to effectively engage with stakeholders
• Experience working in an ERP environment
• In-depth knowledge of accounting standards
• Should be a Team Player
