Technical Writer - AI/Machine Learning

We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer with a strong background in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to create high-quality technical documentation for a variety of audiences, ranging from developers to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Create Clear and Concise Documentation: Write, edit, and maintain technical documents such as API documentation, user guides, and developer guides for AI/ML products.Document algorithms, model architectures, datasets, and data pipelines used in AI/ML systems 

• Collaborate with AI/ML Teams: Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to gather information on AI/ML products and translate complex technical details into user-friendly documentation. Attend technical meetings and product demos to gain an understanding of the development process and project updates
• ​​​​​​Document AI/ML Concepts and Frameworks: Create content that explains AI/ML concepts, such as supervised/unsupervised learning, neural networks, model training, feature engineering, and more and provide technical explanations of the AI/ML frameworks used, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and others.
• Develop Use Cases and Tutorials: Write comprehensive tutorials, code examples, and use cases to guide developers in using AI/ML products and tools.Ensure that documentation includes best practices for model development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Ensure Accuracy and Consistency: Ensure that documentation is technically accurate, consistent with internal guidelines, and easily accessible.Conduct regular reviews and updates to maintain the relevance of the documentation as the product evolves.
• Support AI/ML Product Releases: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of documentation for new releases, updates, and feature enhancements.Collaborate with marketing and training teams to provide technical content for whitepapers, webinars, and product presentations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience writing technical documentation, ideally for AI/ML or software engineering teams.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts such as deep learning, data processing, model evaluation, and algorithm optimization.
• Experience with AI/ML development tools and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, scikit-learn, or similar.
• Ability to understand and explain technical terms related to data science, big data, and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure ML, Google Cloud AI).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to break down complex information into simple, clear instructions.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and documentation tools like Confluence, Markdown, Sphinx, or others.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
