As a Principal UX Leader at Confiz, you will be responsible for leading our user experience design strategy across a range of complex and high-impact digital products. This role requires deep expertise in user-centered design and strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams toward creating intuitive, engaging, and effective user experiences. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align on design goals, establish best practices, and mentor a team of UX/UI designers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and drive a user-centered design strategy that aligns with Confiz’s business objectives and client needs, ensuring a cohesive and consistent experience across all products.
- Lead and mentor a team of UX/UI designers, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Provide guidance on design thinking, visual design, and interaction design.
- Develop, implement, and oversee design systems to streamline design processes, ensuring scalability and consistency in user experience across various products.
- Leverage user research, testing, and analytics to gather insights into user behaviors, pain points, and preferences. Advocate for user-centered design based on data-driven insights.
- Partner with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create design solutions that meet both user needs and business goals. Present design rationale to stakeholders and adapt based on feedback.
- Stay current with UX and design trends, tools, and techniques to continuously enhance Confiz's design capabilities. Apply best practices in design, accessibility, and usability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Design, or a related field with 10+ years of experience in UX/UI design, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
- A comprehensive portfolio demonstrating your experience with user-centered design processes, complex interaction design, and visual design.
- Expert-level knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and experience with prototyping, wireframing, and responsive design.
- Proficiency in user research methods and experience using research insights to inform design decisions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Familiarity with front-end development, accessibility standards, and agile development processes is a plus.
