Lead Computer Vision Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Computer Vision Engineer to define and implement the strategy and roadmap for enhancing object detection algorithms and pipelines. This role requires deep expertise in computer vision, machine learning, along with strong leadership and strategic planning skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and implement vision systems.
• Influence the team's strategy and contribute to long-term vision and roadmap.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align computer vision solutions with business objectives.
• Lead and mentor a team of computer vision and machine learning engineers.
• Lead development of computer vision-based models for object detection & tracking, pose estimation, and depth estimation.
• Define strategies for data augmentation and synthetic data generation through 3D reconstruction.
• Drive innovation in grasping algorithms using techniques like shape completion and geometric search.
• Extend ML applications to support dynamic environments with multiple cameras and moving components.
• Develop scalable and efficient deployment pipelines.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of computer vision systems in manufacturing industry applications.
• Research, develop, and apply deep learning algorithms to novel problems in the domain of computer vision.

Qualifications:

• Masters in ML/AI (Computer Vision) or related field. 
• 6+ years of experience in computer vision, machine learning, or related fields.
• Experience with architectures like Vision Language Models, One-Shot learning, Vision Transformers, YOLO, SSD, and U-Net.
• Understanding of modern deep learning techniques (such as transformers, diffusion models, autoregressive models, multi-modal models, CNNs, etc.).
• Experience working with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of robotics automation.
• Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Must be passionate about new technology, constantly staying updated on the latest trends and innovations.
