We are seeking a Distinguished Engineer to drive technical excellence and strategic innovation in our enterprise systems. Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Vision: Define and maintain enterprise application architectures aligned with business goals, ensuring scalability, reliability, and long-term sustainability.

  • System Design and Delivery: Lead the design and development of distributed, fault-tolerant systems that handle high data and traffic volumes, ensuring adherence to key quality attributes such as performance, security, and maintainability.

  • Data Strategy and Engineering: Develop scalable data pipelines and frameworks to ingest, transform, and analyze large datasets, leveraging modern tools and technologies.

  • Technology Enablement: Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline testing, integration, and deployment, driving efficiency and maintaining high standards for code quality.

  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide hands-on technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and adherence to engineering best practices.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Management, Design, Data Providers, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with organizational objectives and deliver value-driven outcomes.

  • Strategic Leadership: Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) to evaluate emerging technologies, providing actionable recommendations for inclusion in the technology roadmap.

  • Standards and Best Practices: Establish and document architectural standards, design patterns, and development best practices, promoting consistency and scalability across teams and projects.

  • Innovation and Research: Stay at the forefront of emerging technology trends, integrating innovative tools and methodologies to maintain competitive, cutting-edge systems.

  • Organizational Influence: Act as a strategic advisor, influencing technical direction, driving transformation initiatives, and ensuring alignment between technology and business vision.

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in designing, developing, and delivering large-scale software products, with significant hands-on experience in microservices architecture, particularly using Spring Boot.

  • Proficient in designing solutions across cloud technologies (preferably Azure), including infrastructure and application architecture, meeting both functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise architecture transformations, charting a clear roadmap to transition from the current state to a scalable and future-ready environment.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues, delivering robust and high-quality solutions.

  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively articulate technical concepts to technical teams, executives, and non-technical stakeholders, building trust and driving consensus.

  • Broad understanding of the software development lifecycle and practical knowledge of modern development processes, including Agile and DevOps practices.

  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate across technical and business teams, driving alignment and delivering organizational impact.

  • At least a BS/BA Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 10-15 years of overall industry experience and knowledge of wide range of technology landscape for software development
