Senior UX Designer

Confiz is seeking a talented Senior UX Designer to join our team and focus on designing seamless, high-impact experiences for enterprise applications. This role will involve working with cross-functional teams to craft user-centered designs that enhance the usability and functionality of sophisticated, data-driven software solutions used by large organizations.

As a Senior UX Designer, you will lead the design of enterprise-level applications, working closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders. Your goal will be to create intuitive, user-friendly experiences that enhance efficiency, collaboration, and decision-making for enterprise users. You’ll use your expertise to ensure that complex workflows and large datasets are easy to navigate and understand, focusing on delivering value to users while balancing business goals and technical constraints.

You’ll also be responsible for mentoring junior designers and advocating for user experience best practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX Design for Enterprise Applications: Lead end-to-end UX design processes for large-scale enterprise software projects, from user research and persona development to wireframing, prototyping, and final design execution.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and developers to ensure design solutions align with business objectives, technical requirements, and user needs.
• User Research & Testing: Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and stakeholder workshops to understand user pain points, needs, and behaviors. Use insights to inform design decisions and iteratively improve the product.
• Complex Data Visualization: Design intuitive interfaces that simplify complex data visualization, helping enterprise users make informed decisions based on large, intricate datasets.
• Information Architecture: Develop clear information architectures and navigation systems for enterprise applications, ensuring that users can easily find and access the tools and data they need.
• Design Systems & Guidelines: Contribute to or help maintain a consistent design system and UX/UI guidelines that ensure consistency across all enterprise applications.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to junior designers, helping them grow their skills while maintaining high standards of design excellence.
• Stakeholder Communication: Present design solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, articulating design decisions and rationale clearly and effectively.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX design for enterprise applications, applying new knowledge to improve the user experience.

Requirements

• Experience:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in user experience design, with a strong portfolio showcasing work on complex enterprise applications or software systems.
  • Proven experience designing for large-scale, data-intensive applications and understanding the unique challenges of enterprise software.
• Skills & Tools:
  • Proficiency in UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of user-centered design principles, usability testing, and prototyping.
  • Experience with designing for both desktop and mobile platforms, as well as responsive design.
  • Strong knowledge of design systems, interaction design, and UI patterns.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS and front-end development processes is a plus.
• Collaboration & Leadership:
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong collaborative skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams and leading design initiatives.
  • Ability to mentor and provide constructive feedback to junior team members.
• Problem-Solving:
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically about user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and multiple concurrent projects.

• Experience designing enterprise software solutions within specific industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, supply chain).
• Familiarity with agile development processes and working in an agile environment.
• Experience with user analytics tools (e.g., Hotjar, Google Analytics, etc.) to inform design decisions.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and creating inclusive designs.
