Senior Software Test Engineer- Manual + Automation

We are looking for a Test Engineer adept with skills in Manual and Automation Testing. Depending upon expertise, a strong candidate may additionally be given business & requirement analysis responsibilities. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain and execute Test Plans for enterprise and complex systems
  • Work with a team of talented team of Testers through process and inspiration
  • Ensure proper test planning, test coverage, test execution, and defect riddance
  • Effectively communicate with clients. This includes both verbal and written communication
  • Explore new testing technologies, ideas to implement complex solutions
  • Suggest improvements in existing company processes specially related to Quality assurance
  • Be a mentor and inspiring leader to junior team members, coaching them to deliver best quality work

Requirements:

  • Atleast 3+ years of experience 
  • Methodical and process-oriented individual with a passion for Software testing and delivering bug free Software.
  • Should be well versed in unit testing code in Java, JavaScript
  • Must be fluent with Web services/REST API testing.
  • Expert in load testing, stress testing, performance testing.
  • Must have strong hands on experience in following tools:
    • Selenium/Appium
    • JMeter
    • Rest API testing tools like postman
    • Cucumber
  • Must be fluent with Agile (Scrum) - Familiarity with Agile tools like JIRA or TFS Project will be a big plus.
  • Experience of working on high-traffic and large-scale Software products.
  • Experience of working in retail will be a big plus.
  • Experienced QA tester with adept knowledge on QA methodologies, tools, and process
  • Experience in testing of API (SOAP & REST)
  • Proficient in writing SQL queries
  • Experience in Web Application, mobile iOS and Android applications testing
  • Creation of Detailed Test scripts
  • Able to identify and define data requirements
  • Experience in Defect tracking and management process and tools
  • Work with cross functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Excellence in maintaining automation test frameworks
  • Experience with BDD and TDD software development paradigms
  • Strong knowledge on any programming language
  • Experience in Defect tracking and management process and tools
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, and a quick learner
  • Good analytical skills and attention to details
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
