Test Automation Engineer

CONSULTFIZ LATAM, a fully owned subsidiary of Confiz LLC is looking for Test Automation Engineer in San Jose, Costa Rica with at least 3+ years of experience in Manual & Automation testing. Depending upon expertise, strong candidates may additionally be given further responsibilities. Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and execute Test Plans for enterprise and complex systems
• Develop and execute automated test suites using COTS and custom tools;
• Integrate test suites into the test management system and custom test harnesses; and,
• Perform other testing-related duties as required.
• Participate in the Change Control Board to identify the quality implications of known bugs and the impact of proposed changes to product definition on the testing process.
• Work with the Release Engineering team to create and maintain an automated nightly build verification (“smoke”) test
• Effectively communicate with US based clients. This includes both verbal and written communication
• Explore new testing technologies, ideas to implement complex solutions
• Suggest improvements in existing company processes specially related to Quality assurance

Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering, or similar.
• Overall 3+ yrs. of experience and minimum 2 yrs. of experience in automation using any tool Selenium/Appium Automation
• Should have strong understanding of testing process, requirement analysis and test design.
• Strong hands on programming experience using any language. E.g JAVA, C#, Python etc
• Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed; i.e., perform manual static testing
• Experience of working in Agile (Scrum) and Familiarity with any Agile tool like JIRA, TFS or ADO.
• Excellent analytical skills
• Should have an understanding of API testing using postman or swagger etc.
• Knowledge of version control systems e.g GIT
• Experience of Load and performance testing
• Familiar with security testing aspects of the application
• Working knowledge of CI/CD using any tool. E.g Jenkins/Team City
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
