Palantir ETL Engineer

In this role you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data pipelines that facilitate the seamless ingestion, transformation, and integration of data from various sources (on-premises and cloud-based) into the Palantir platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Pipeline Development: Creating and managing ETL processes to extract data from diverse internal and external sources, ensuring proper formatting, cleansing, and enrichment for downstream use.
• Expertise in Palantir Foundry pipeline development leveraging Python for data transformation and integration tasks.
• Technical Proficiency: Utilizing tools and technologies such as Python, SQL, and ETL frameworks, with a solid understanding of data modeling and metadata management.
• Data Modeling: Developing data models, ontologies, and metadata management strategies to support analytical and operational use cases.
• Monitoring and Optimization: Overseeing data pipelines to maintain operational reliability and performance, performing regular updates, and optimizing processes for efficiency.
• Data Governance: Implementing and enforcing data governance best practices, including metadata management and access controls within Palantir Foundry.
• Cloud Integration: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and integrating data from various data sources, both on-premises and cloud-based.
• Collaboration: Working closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.
