Engineer III - Infra Windows

Confiz LLC is seeking a Engineer III - Infra Windows to join our Finance Technology Delivery team as we intensify the pace of innovation and support future growth through technology solutions. The Software Engineer will be responsible for supporting mission-critical Integrations between source data with financial SaaS and Custom applications.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and support infrastructure for modern, mid-scale, highly resilient, distributed messaging and services, tools, and applications for use by internal teams and external customers in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with your team to own solutions through the entire SDLC including design, implementation, deployment, testing, quality, security, compliance, monitoring, and support, while targeting operational excellence.
• Implement build, deployment, and test automation to ensure high quality and enable continuous delivery.
• Adjust positively to quickly changing priorities and shifting goals while striving for continuous improvement of code quality, infrastructure, development, and operational practices.
• Assist the team in identifying and monitoring key metrics to support operational excellence of active systems.
• General infrastructure support for maintenance and compliance, e.g. server patching, monitoring, and audit report generation.
• Mentor others on the team and raise the bar for technical knowledge across a wide spectrum.
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of information technology concepts issues, trends and best practices as they relate to Cloud technologies and system integrations.
• Apply and share knowledge of security coding practices and secure system fundamentals.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Windows infrastructure engineering or system administration.
• Strong proficiency in Windows and Linux infrastructures, including experience with Oracle environments.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting (Bash or Python is a plus) for automation and system tasks.
• Practical experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP – including deployment, configuration, and management.
• Exposure to DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) is a plus.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker; Kubernetes knowledge is a plus.
• Knowledge of patch management, system hardening, and infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Awareness of compliance standards such as SOC2 and PCI-DSS.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Shift & Handover Requirements:

• This role involves working in rotational shifts. Shift timings may vary based on business needs.
• Employees are required to complete a proper handover at the end of their shift to ensure smooth workflow continuity.
• Coordination with the next shift team member is essential for task updates and seamless transition.
• Flexibility to adjust shift timings when needed is expected.
