We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Project Manager with expertise in SailPoint Identity Now to lead and manage end-to-end identity governance and administration (IGA) projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing and delivering identity management solutions using SailPoint identity Now.

This role will require close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, compliance, and business stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of projects that align with the organization’s identity management strategy and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of new application onboarding initiatives within SailPoint IdentityNow, along with various enhancement projects.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies effectively.
  • Ensure timely and quality delivery of project objectives within scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for SailPoint IdentityNow, providing guidance and insights on best practices for implementation and configuration.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to drive identity governance solutions that align with business requirements while ensuring adherence to organizational security and compliance standards (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Oversee the integration of SailPoint IdentityNow with other systems, applications, and platforms.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for identity management initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams, vendors, and business units to ensure alignment and understanding.
  • Conduct regular status updates and project reviews with stakeholders and leadership.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, administrators, and consultants, to execute project tasks effectively.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) projects with a strong focus on SailPoint IdentityNow and familiarity with other IAM solutions like CyberArk, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID etc
  • In-depth knowledge of identity management authentication and authorization frameworks, and the ability to offer guidance to application teams on their integration with IAM solution.
  • Strong understanding of identity governance concepts such as user provisioning, access certifications, role-based access control (RBAC), and compliance reporting.
  • Familiarity with integrating SailPoint IdentityNow with systems like Active Directory, Oracle/SQL Databases, ServiceNow, HR systems, and other enterprise applications.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with current legal and regulatory requirements around information security and privacy, including PCI, SOX, HIPAA, GLBA, etc. and the associated reporting requirements.
  • Managing stakeholder expectations and ensure communication throughout the process.
  • Proven capability to successfully manage and deliver complex projects within established timelines.
  • Skilled in prioritizing projects to align with company goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills for effectively engaging with various business partners, including leadership.
