Role:

  • Responsibilities:

    • Gather and compile large datasets from multiple sources including databases, internal tools,

    • Act as the first point of contact to answer all business data queries

    • Develop effective reporting solutions by utilizing engineering best practices and reporting tools

    • Drive and support your designated business unit by converting complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports

    • Clean, validate, and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and usability for analysis

    • Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, insights, and business opportunities

    • Collaborate with senior leadership, sales, marketing, and product teams to align strategies with organizational objectives and customer needs.

    • Conduct in-depth industry research and present insights to executive leadership to inform business decisions.

    • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and performance tracking tools using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau

    • Translate complex data findings into understandable insights and actionable recommendations for stakeholders

    • Support senior analysts and business teams in ad-hoc data requests and business case development

    • Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand business goals and align data solutions accordingly

    • Assist in defining key metrics, KPIs, and performance benchmarks for various departments

    • Document analytical methods, data definitions, and processes for future reference and standardization

Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • 0–1 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role

    • Relevant academic projects or internships in data analysis, statistics, or visualization

    • Experience working with tools like Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) & SQL

    • Exposure to real-world data challenges such as missing data, data normalization, or merging large datasets

    • Demonstrated ability to draw conclusions from data and present findings clearly (through presentations, reports, or dashboards)

  • Skills:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, charts)

    • Basic working knowledge of SQL for querying relational databases

    • Familiarity with data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau,

    • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.

    • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and external stakeholders.

    • Familiarity with strategic planning and business development tools, and a track record of executing strategies effectively.

  • Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field
