WordPress Developer

We’re looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team and help build, customize, and maintain high-quality WordPress websites. You’ll work closely with designers, marketers, and product teams to deliver seamless, responsive, and performance-optimized digital experiences.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about clean code, scalable architecture, and modern WordPress development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Convert Figma/Sketch/PSD designs into responsive, SEO-friendly WordPress websites.
• Ensure optimal website performance, speed, and scalability.
• Implement third-party integrations, including APIs and marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp).
• Customize and extend existing WordPress sites using hooks, filters, and WP best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to themes, plugins, and hosting environments.
• Collaborate with designers and content teams to ensure high-quality user experience.
• Maintain website security, backups, and updates regularly.
• Stay current with new tools, trends, and best practices in WordPress and web development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3–5 years of professional experience in WordPress development.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress core, theme and plugin development.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (especially jQuery), and MySQL.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks and build tools (e.g., React, Webpack, Sass) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Gutenberg block development.
• Experience with WooCommerce, ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), and popular plugins.
• Understanding of SEO, performance optimization, and accessibility best practices.
• Version control experience using Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with headless WordPress or REST API.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Basic knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tag Manager).
