React Principal Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity to work on highly resilient, scalable web applications with deep integration into modern chatbot and e-commerce frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer and develop high-quality, resilient front-end web applications using React.js.
• Lead efforts to integrate intelligent chatbot features within web environments.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to translate wireframes and designs into high-performance code.
• Ensure web applications are secure, accessible, and optimized across all platforms and devices.
• Implement best practices for code maintainability, performance, security, and scalability.
• Guide team members on modern front-end engineerure patterns and component reuse strategies.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries using modern JavaScript standards.
• Design and maintain robust, responsive, and adaptive UIs using frameworks such as Chakra-UI and Storybook.
• Integrate headless CMS solutions like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and headless commerce frameworks.
• Utilize Redux, GraphQL, and TypeScript for building modern, reactive web interfaces.
• Work with tools such as Chromatic, AirTable, Webpack, Babel, and NPM to manage and build scalable front-end solutions.
• Integrate front-end components with APIs (preferably e-commerce platforms like Magento 2) and backend services.
• Set up and maintain front-end build pipelines and deployment strategies in collaboration with DevOps teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in front-end web development with a focus on React.js.
• Deep understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), DOM manipulation, and the JavaScript object model.
• Proficient in React.js, Redux, and GraphQL.
• Experience working with TypeScript, responsive and adaptive design frameworks, and modern CSS-in-JS solutions.
• Hands-on experience with headless CMS (AEM) and headless commerce integrations.
• Familiarity with modern front-end tooling: Webpack, Babel, NPM, Chromatic, Storybook.
• Experience building secure, scalable applications with modern authorization mechanisms like JWT.
• Strong background in API consumption and integration, including RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience working with API gateways and API aggregators.
• Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and front-end performance optimization techniques.
• Ability to build and manage front-end codebases for high-availability and mission-critical systems.
• Familiarity with Node.js and server-side frameworks such as Express or StrongLoop is a plus.
• Exposure to Immutable.js, isomorphic React, or server-side rendering techniques is advantageous.
• Prior experience integrating front-end applications with Magento 2 or similar e-commerce platforms.
• Deep understanding of front-end security best practices and monitoring tools.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
