Workday Business Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Workday Business Analyst to support the ongoing optimization, configuration, and maintenance of our Workday platform. This role will serve as a critical liaison between HR, IT, and business stakeholders, analyzing business needs, gathering requirements, and delivering system solutions that drive efficiency and accuracy across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with HR and IT teams to gather, document, and validate business requirements for enhancements, integrations, and new functionality in Workday.

  • Support configuration, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting for modules such as HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Talent, Absence, or Time Tracking.

  • Analyze business processes and recommend improvements aligned with Workday capabilities and best practices.

  • Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements and collaborate with technical teams for development and implementation.

  • Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, process flows, and data mappings.

  • Support regular Workday releases by evaluating new features, testing functionality, and advising on adoption strategies.

  • Manage security roles, reporting needs, and data quality initiatives.

  • Provide end-user training and support as needed.

  • Monitor system performance, audit controls, and resolve data issues proactively.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or HRIS Analyst with a focus on Workday.

  • Hands-on experience with one or more Workday modules: HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, Absence, scheduling, Time Tracking, or Security.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Experience with Workday Studio or Workday Integration frameworks is a plus, but not required.

  • Workday certification(s) in relevant modules.

  • Experience supporting Workday in a large enterprise or global environment.

  • Understanding of change management, testing methodologies (UAT), and release management.
