Azure & Microsoft 365 Support Engineer (CST Time Zone)

We are looking for a highly skilled Azure & Microsoft 365 Support Engineer to provide technical support to end-users in the US region (CST time zone) and manage Microsoft 365 and Azure-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Azure administration, Microsoft 365 management, and system administration. This role requires proactive troubleshooting, technical expertise, and the ability to resolve IT issues efficiently while ensuring a seamless experience for end-users.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2/L3 technical support for end-users in the US region (CST time zone).

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune, etc.) and Azure AD, VMs, Networking, and Security.
  • Handle service requests, incidents, and escalations related to Azure and Microsoft 365.
  • Assist users with account management, access permissions, and security policies.
  • Manage and maintain Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Intune.
  • Monitor and enforce Microsoft security policies, MFA, conditional access, and DLP.
  • Configure and optimize Microsoft 365 tenant settings based on business needs.
  • Manage and monitor Azure Virtual Machines (VMs), Azure AD, networking, and storage.
  • Implement and support Azure policies, governance, security best practices, and compliance.
  • Work on Azure Identity & Access Management (IAM), role-based access control (RBAC), and MFA enforcement.
  • Manage Active Directory (On-Prem and Azure AD Sync) and Windows Server environments.
  • Perform patching, monitoring, and maintenance for critical IT systems.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security standards, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • A Minimum of 5 years of experience in providing technical support, managing Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, and handling system administration tasks, preferably in an IT services environment supporting international clients.
  • Expertise in Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune).

  • Hands-on experience with Azure services (VMs, Networking, Azure AD, Security).

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policies.

  • Experience with Identity & Access Management (IAM), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Conditional Access Policies.

  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently in the CST time zone.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)

  • AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert

  • Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900) (optional but preferred)
