Cyber Security Platform E2

We are seeking a skilled and security-driven Cyber Security Platform Engineer to join our team in a hybrid capacity based in Seattle, WA. This individual will support the organization’s Zero Trust security strategy by engineering secure, scalable, and automated security platforms across cloud and on-prem environments. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to elevate our cyber defense capabilities.

You will play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and optimizing scalable security platforms across AWS and on-premises environments. We are especially interested in candidates with hands-on experience in Zscaler, browser isolation capabilities, and a deep understanding of Zero Trust architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure platform configurations aligned with Zero Trust principles
• Deploy and manage Zscaler solutions and other browser isolation technologies
• Perform network and data flow analysis to support segmentation and access control strategies
• Drive microsegmentation initiatives across hybrid infrastructure environments
• Engineer and manage enterprise security platforms such as SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and CSPM tools
• Automate platform operations and monitoring using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and containerized workloads
• Tune detection and alerting to reduce false positives and improve actionable visibility
• Build dashboards and reports to track platform performance and security posture
• Partner with engineering, infrastructure, and compliance teams to address vulnerabilities and enforce best practices

Qualifications

• 4+ years in cybersecurity, platform security, or security engineering roles
• 2+ years of hands-on cloud security experience, with a strong preference for AWS
• Direct experience deploying and managing Zscaler and browser isolation technologies
• Familiarity with Zero Trust frameworks and their application in enterprise environments
• Strong knowledge of enterprise platform security, segmentation, and system hardening
• Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation
• Experience with security tool integration in CI/CD and containerized ecosystems
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
