Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Finance Technology Delivery team, supporting continued innovation and future growth through modern, scalable technology solutions. This role will focus on building mission-critical integrations between source data, financial SaaS platforms, and enterprise applications in a cloud-based, agile environment.

The ideal candidate brings strong front-end expertise, solid JavaScript fundamentals, and the ability to collaborate across distributed teams while contributing to high-impact financial systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to multi-dimensional engineering initiatives involving multiple teams

  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions using agile development methodologies

  • Build and maintain scalable integrations between financial SaaS platforms and enterprise applications

  • Collaborate with other engineers on design best practices and participate in code reviews

  • Resolve complex technical issues through collaboration, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis

  • Facilitate cross-functional problem solving and engage appropriate teams as needed

  • Contribute to detailed feature designs and technical documentation

  • Mentor team members and help raise overall technical capability

  • Apply and promote secure coding practices and secure system design fundamentals

  • Stay current on cloud technologies, system integration trends, and engineering best practices

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required)

  • Strong experience with JavaScript (required)

  • Hands-on experience with Node.js and React (required)

  • Backend development experience is a plus

  • Experience with RESTful architectures and microservices

  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies

  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes

  • Experience with AWS cloud services

  • Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies and tooling

  • Experience building near real-time data processing solutions using Kafka (preferred)

  • Experience integrating with financial planning systems such as Anaplan or Oracle (preferred)

  • Familiarity with relational databases

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
