Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Finance Technology Delivery team, supporting the continued pace of innovation and future growth through modern technology solutions. This role focuses on building scalable, sustainable, and mission-critical integrations between source data, financial SaaS platforms, and enterprise applications within a cloud-native, agile environment.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical leadership, deep Java expertise, and experience designing distributed systems while collaborating across multiple teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex, multi-dimensional engineering initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders

  • Design, develop, and implement software solutions using agile development practices

  • Build and maintain scalable integrations between financial SaaS platforms and enterprise applications

  • Drive design best practices, contribute to detailed feature designs, and conduct code reviews

  • Resolve complex engineering challenges through collaboration, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis

  • Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving and engage appropriate teams when needed

  • Mentor and guide other engineers, raising the technical bar across the organization

  • Apply and promote secure coding practices and secure system design fundamentals

  • Stay current on cloud technologies, system integration trends, and engineering best practices

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience

  • Deep proficiency in Java (required); Python experience is a plus

  • Hands-on experience with RESTful architectures and microservices-based systems

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker

  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts

  • Experience with AWS cloud services

  • Working knowledge of relational databases

  • Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies and tooling

  • Experience building near real-time data processing solutions using Kafka (preferred)

  • Experience integrating with financial planning systems such as Anaplan or Oracle (preferred)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
