Associate Project Manager

The ideal candidate will establish and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders, the program manager, and software architect to ensure the team's objectives are met. The ideal candidate will be responsible for following, executing project plans, including defining scope, schedule, risks, deliverables, and resources. Candidate will oversee and motivate a cross-functional team, collaborate with process audit and compliance teams, set team goals, and contribute to the improvement of project management processes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets, and coordinating activities/resources to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks or deviations, and communicate updates, timelines, and issues to stakeholders while serving as a primary contact.
• Support and coordinate cross‑functional teams by assigning tasks, tracking performance, and fostering a positive, collaborative environment.
• Identify risks, scope changes, and obstacles early; develop mitigation strategies and resolve issues to minimize project disruption.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards through regular checks, applying corrective actions where needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation (MOMs, reports, logs), prepare progress updates, and capture lessons learned for future improvement.
• Coordinate with resource managers for staffing needs, optimize resource utilization, and escalate availability or conflict issues.
• Drive continuous improvement by refining processes, workflows, and team practices based on feedback and project learnings.

• Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, organizational policies, and support audits or reviews as required.

Requirements:

• Hold a BS/MS Computer Science degree from a reputable institution or Project Management; 2+ years as APM or 5+ years as Project Coordinator.
• 5~7 years of work experience in reputable Software organizations.
• Strong communication, people management, and presentation skills with a likable, easy‑going personality.
• Proficient with PM tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps), Waterfall/Agile methodologies; Dynamics 365 project experience will be a plus.
