Principal Software Engineer - React Native

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal React Native Engineer who is a strong self‑starter and can take ownership of complex mobile initiatives from concept to delivery. The ideal candidate has excellent technical depth, the ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, and a passion for building world‑class mobile experiences.

Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership

  • Architect, develop, and maintain advanced mobile applications using React Native.
  • Lead design decisions and ensure mobile engineering best practices across the team.
  • Build high-performance components and reusable libraries for cross‑platform use.
  • Integrate mobile apps with backend APIs (REST, GraphQL).

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Work closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high‑quality mobile features.
  • Communicate effectively to clarify requirements, propose solutions, and drive alignment.
  • Participate in and lead code reviews, mentoring junior engineers.
  • Improve development workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.

Quality & Testing

  • Implement robust testing practices (unit, integration, E2E).
  • Diagnose and resolve complex performance and platform-specific issues on both iOS and Android.
  • Ensure mobile apps meet accessibility, security, and performance criteria.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science or related field.
  • 6+ years of mobile development experience, including 3+ years with React Native.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and mobile architectural patterns.
  • Experience with native modules and platform-specific APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of Git workflows and CI/CD tools.
  • Strong self-starter with a proactive ownership mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to clearly articulate ideas and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced and changing environments.
