Engineer Oracle RMS

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Retail (RMS) professional to support and drive end-to-end merchandising transformations, working closely with business and technical teams in a retail enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Oracle RMS Subject Matter Expert (SME) for client merchandising initiatives
  • Configure, customize, and enhance Oracle RMS modules to meet business needs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
  • Work closely with developers, QA teams, and external vendors on integrations and batch processing
  • Analyze and troubleshoot RMS batch processes, job failures, and data inconsistencies
  • Ensure accurate data synchronization across RMS, RPM, ReIM, SIM, Xstore, and eCommerce platforms
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployments, and post-go-live hypercare activities
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to cross-functional coordination

Requirements

  • Advanced expertise in Oracle PL/SQL
  • Experience with Oracle RMS (v13.x, v14.x, v16.x, or Cloud SaaS)
  • Strong functional knowledge of Oracle RMS modules:
  • Item & Supplier Management
  • Purchase Orders & Deals
  • Costing & Inventory
  • Transfers & Allocations
  • Experience with Oracle RIB (Retail Integration Bus)
  • Knowledge of job scheduling using Airflow
  • Experience in ETL development (any programming language)
  • Hands-on experience with Java and RESTful Web Services
  • Basic knowledge or experience with AWS
  • Understanding of retail business processes:
  • Merchandise Financial Planning
  • Procurement & Pricing
  • Omni-channel workflows (BOPIS, returns, markdowns)
  • Preferred experience with Oracle ReIM, RPM, SIM, and Xstore
  • Exposure to Oracle Retail Cloud Suite
  • Experience with Oracle RMS Cloud (SaaS) implementations or support
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in Agile development environments
