Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer – Level 3 with a strong focus on Java, Spring Boot, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), Kubernetes, and distributed systems. This role will contribute to the design, development, and support of scalable, reliable, and mission-critical enterprise applications within complex, multi-technology environments.

The ideal candidate is passionate about clean, maintainable code, modern engineering practices, and continuous improvement, and thrives in collaborative, agile teams delivering high-quality software to production.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain Java / Spring Boot microservices

  • Design and support RESTful and event-driven integrations (Kafka, SQS)

  • Deploy and operate services in AWS/GCP using Docker and Kubernetes

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, testing, and automation

Qualifications

Candidates MUST reside in Mexico

  • 6+ years of professional software development experience

  • Strong Java and Spring Boot expertise

  • Experience with AWS and/or GCP

  • Hands-on experience with Docker & Kubernetes

  • Experience with RESTful microservices, JSON/XML (SOAP a plus)

  • Familiarity with Kafka, SQS, or similar messaging systems

  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Spanner, or NoSQL databases

  • Solid OOP fundamentals and design patterns

  • Retail or supply chain experience is a plus

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
