Senior/Principal Power BI Engineer

Confiz is seeking a skilled and driven Power BI Engineer with 4–7 years of experience to join our data and analytics team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in transforming complex data into meaningful insights, building scalable BI solutions, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver impactful dashboards and analytics solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Understand business problems and suggest appropriate technology solutions.
• Drive Proof of Concept (POC) and Proof of Technology (POT) evaluations.
• Lead engineering efforts from rapid prototypes to large-scale applications using variety of languages and tools/technology stacks.
• Publish and update technical architecture and user/process documentation.
• You will need to exhibit strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate with business, product, and engineering across different geographic locations.
• Create and recommend solution design options factoring in requirements, standards and current Infrastructure environment. Communicate and present solutions to the other stakeholders.
• Guide and mentor other members in the team to promote highly technical and self-sufficient teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master’s Degree and 4-7 yrs. of experience in Computer Science.
• 4-7 years of experience with SSIS, SSAS and other Microsoft technologies
• 4-7 years of hands on industry experience of PowerBI 
• Must have hands on Experience with Snowflake and Databricks.
• Experience with MySQL, NoSQL such as CouchBase, Cassandra, Mongo DB etc.
• Strong technical troubleshooting, diagnosing and problem-solving skills
• Strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures and data stores
• Ability to work with distributed teams in a collaborative and productive manner
• A self-motivated learner and builder with strong customer focus and obsession with quality
