Senior WMS Consultant – Manhattan Active WMS

CONSULTFIZ LATAM, a fully owned subsidiary of Confiz LLC is looking for a Senior WMS Consultant – Manhattan Active WMS Specialist in Mexico with at least 8+ years of professional experience in supply chain consulting within retail or consumer goods industries.

This role is ideal for highly experienced professionals who are passionate about warehouse management systems, supply chain optimization, and driving large-scale digital transformations. You will play a strategic and hands-on role in designing, implementing, and optimizing Manhattan Active WMS solutions across distribution networks. You will work closely with business stakeholders, operations teams, and engineering partners to deliver scalable and efficient warehouse solutions. Responsibilities:

• Lead full-cycle implementations of Manhattan Active WMS across multiple distribution centers.
• Design, configure, and optimize warehouse processes including Receiving, Putaway, Cross Dock, Pick, Pack, and Ship workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, define system design, and ensure alignment with operational goals.
• Analyze existing supply chain processes and identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation including process flows, use cases, business rules, and system design artifacts.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, budgets, and performance metrics to ensure successful project execution.
• Support and lead testing strategies, including validation of functional changes and system enhancements.
• Act as a key consultant between business and technical teams, providing insights and recommendations on WMS strategy and execution.
• Work with APIs and integrations using tools such as Postman and JSON for testing and validation.
• Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and best practices throughout project delivery.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership, to drive alignment and decision-making.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tools, and system performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of consulting experience in supply chain within retail or consumer goods industries.
• Proven experience delivering at least 2 full-cycle implementations of Manhattan Active WMS.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Manhattan Active WMS configuration and solution design.
• Experience with Manhattan Proactive Extension development.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations including receiving, putaway, cross dock, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Experience working with APIs, including JSON and tools such as Postman.
• Familiarity with Configuration Director and managing multi-configuration environments.
• Strong experience working in Agile environments and managing project execution.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive-level presentation skills.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS.
• Experience integrating WMS solutions with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of transportation, logistics, and distribution center operations.
• Experience with Manhattan SCI reporting and analytics tools.
