Confiz is seeking a Data Engineer with deep PL/SQL expertise to join a client-facing data environment built on a hybrid architecture spanning Oracle, SQL Server, and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). The engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines, reporting solutions, and web-based dashboards across this multi-platform environment. The role requires hands-on reporting experience with SSRS and Oracle APEX, and comfort operating within a governed CI/CD delivery process using Bitbucket and TeamCity. 

Responsibilities 

  • Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers in Oracle 

  • Build and maintain ETL/data pipelines and transformation logic across Oracle and SQL Server environments 

  • Develop and support multidimensional and tabular models in SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) 

  • Create and maintain parameterized, scheduled, and ad-hoc reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) 

  • Build web-based reporting applications and dashboards using Oracle APEX 

  • Manage and version database objects, reports, and application code through Bitbucket 

  • Work within CI/CD pipelines via TeamCity, including build configuration, deployments, and environment promotions 

  • Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions 

  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to technical documentation and best practices 

  • Troubleshoot performance issues across queries, data models, and reporting layers 

Requirements 

  • 5+ years of hands-on PL/SQL development experience (stored procedures, packages, triggers, cursors) 

  • Strong proficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server for data transformation and reporting 

  • Experience designing and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines in hybrid Oracle and SQL Server environments 

  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), tabular or multidimensional models 

  • Practical experience developing SSRS reports, including parameterization, subscriptions, and drill-through 

  • Experience with Oracle APEX for building data-driven web applications and dashboards 

  • Proficiency with Git-based source control, specifically Bitbucket 

  • Familiarity with CI/CD principles and working within TeamCity or equivalent deployment pipelines 

  • Strong understanding of relational data modeling, normalization, and schema design
