Overview 

Confiz is seeking a Data Analyst to support a leading retail client in Seattle, WA. This role sits within the Analytics team and focuses on delivering insights that drive merchandising and planning decisions. The ideal candidate brings strong retail domain knowledge, financial acumen, and a curiosity for uncovering data-driven insights. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Partner with business stakeholders to define and solve data analysis problems  
  • Analyze complex behavioral and transactional data to generate actionable insights  
  • Support merchandising and planning initiatives through data-driven recommendations  
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and support data integrations  
  • Apply statistical methods, data modeling, and predictive analysis to business questions  
  • Develop and present insights using advanced data visualization techniques  
  • Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences  

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field  
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within retail analytics  
  • Strong understanding of retail domain and finance-related retail data  
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with Python and/or TypeScript  
  • Hands-on experience with data pipelines and cloud platforms (GCP preferred)  
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application in analytics  
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Looker  
  • Exposure to analytical tools such as R is a plus  
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders 
  • Must be currently based in the Seattle area; candidates requiring relocation will not be considered
