Python + Java Engineer

Confiz is looking for Python + Java Engineer with at least Minimum 3+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will be a Python expert with a primary focus on web and application scraping. They will also be responsible for maintaining existing applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Web and Application Scraping:
  • Write browser-based scraping applications using Selenium.
  • Develop Android application scrapers using the Appium framework.
  • Research third-party websites and Android apps to build efficient scraping logic.
  • Extract data from various file formats, including PDF, Excel, and CSV.
  • Integrate with third-party APIs using Python.
  • Application Development and Maintenance:
  • Ensure seamless application performance and drive operational excellence.
  • Maintain and contribute to applications primarily built in Python.
  • Deployment and Collaboration:
  • Deploy and maintain applications in AWS.
  • Work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Use Docker for containerization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • A strong candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Python.
  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python.
  • Education: Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Must-Have Skills (Hands-on experience):
  • Python 3.
  • Selenium.
  • Appium.
  • API Requests.
  • Docker.
  • Browserstack.
  • Scraping Bee.
  • Familiarity with Java:
  • Familiarity with Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot) for potential minor contributions or maintenance tasks.
  • General understanding of development principles in object-oriented languages like Java.
  • Experience in deploying/maintaining applications in AWS.
