Intake Analyst

One of Confiz's largest retails clients is looking for a Intake Analyst who supports portfolio intake, governance, and resource planning processes by ensuring new work requests are properly reviewed, prioritized, and aligned to business objectives. This role works closely with business stakeholders and delivery teams to manage intake activities, maintain portfolio data, support Smartsheet solutions, and provide reporting and resource insights that enable effective decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and facilitate the intake process for new project, product, and enhancement requests.
• Lead intake review meetings and ensure required information is collected for prioritization and governance reviews.
• Maintain connections between Continuous Improvement Projects (CIPs) and product portfolios.
• Serve as the support contact for Smartsheet-related questions, issue resolution, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
• Track and report on intake, governance, and portfolio metrics.
• Monitor team capacity and identify resource over-allocation risks.
• Forecast resource needs based on project demand and upcoming delivery timelines.
• Develop and maintain resource planning reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Support continuous improvement of intake, governance, and resource management processes.

Education:

• Undergraduate degree required, ideally in business, and / or technology

Qualifications:
 

• 3+ years working in project management including having led requirements identification and prioritization efforts for large scale business and technology projects and process and data modeling.
• 3+ years of experience working in organizations manufacturing and packaged goods delivery, preferred.
• 3+ years working with software development and system integration projects.
• Experience with both Agile/SCRUM frameworks and Waterfall methodology preferred.
• Experience with JIRA and Smartsheet is a plus.
